Company background
From specialist installer to full mechanical contractor
Alert Mechanical was formed in 2007 and has grown steadily into a trusted mechanical contractor across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. Our project history spans some of the largest and most technically demanding construction programmes in the country, from data centre campuses to pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, schools and large-scale commercial developments.
What sets us apart is how we deliver. Where many mechanical contractors work entirely on site, we design and build off-site wherever possible, prefabricating boiler houses, plant rooms and pipework skids in a controlled environment before installation. It is an approach that reduces risk, protects programme, and gives our clients a level of certainty that is hard to find elsewhere in mechanical contracting.
Our approach
Controlled delivery, from design to handover
We do not treat prefabrication as an add-on. It is the foundation of how we plan every project. Wherever a boiler house, plant room or pipe rack can be built off site and delivered ready to connect, we design it that way from the outset. That means:
- Fewer variables to manage on live, active or restricted sites
- Fixed-quality build conditions instead of site weather, access and sequencing risk
- A shorter, more predictable installation window
- Direct, main-contractor-level accountability for our packages

With over 25 years in the mechanical engineering sector, Eoghan has worked directly with some of the industry's most prominent contractors and developers, delivering plant room, boiler house and process pipework packages on projects ranging from data centres to pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. That experience, and the relationships built on it, shapes how Alert Mechanical is run: controlled, accountable, and focused on getting complex mechanical packages right the first time.
